Hibs Women host city rivals Hearts on Friday (6 September) at Easter Road!
THE LOWDOWN
Grant Scott's side will host the first Edinburgh Derby of the season at Easter Road following another strong result on the road last week.
The Hibees had picked up four wins from four to start the season prior to taking on league champions Celtic in Airdrie on Friday 30 August.
While the winning streak came to an end, the girls still kept their impressive unbeaten run going with a 0-0 draw against Elena Sadiku's side.
Abbie Ferguson was unfortunate on two occasions not to put Hibs in front, while Erin Clachers and her resolute backline kept an excellent clean sheet in defence.
The solid performance puts the Club in second-place - ahead of Celtic on goal difference and just two points behind Rangers.
THE VISITORS
Hearts have also started the 2024/25 league season in good form - losing just once so far.
That defeat was a narrow 2-1 away loss to Glasgow City and has been well-countered by four thrashings of Queen's Park, Spartans, Dundee United and Motherwell.
With 13 different goalscorers in their first five, there is a goal threat in every position in Eva Olid's squad for Hibs to prepare for.
Much like the Hibees, our Capital Cup rivals have experienced a high turnover throughout the summer.
The new arrivals at Oriam will hope to improve upon last season's head-to-head record after the Hibees won three of last season's four Derby Day encounters.
