DUA LIPA has unwittingly become the pin-up girl for British naturism – after innocently saying Cornwall’s Pedn Vounder beach was one of her favourite places.
But a quick Google search of the location reveals it is a hotspot for nudists.
Dua Lipa innocently said Cornwall’s nudist Pedn Vounder beach was one of her favourite places[/caption]And her endorsement could do wonders for those who like to strip off.
Andrew Welch, spokesman for representative body British Naturism, said: “Things have certainly improved with an unfreezing of attitudes and a more grown-up approach to the basic simple human body.
“We are experiencing a good increase in acceptance and also participation. But we have often said that there is still a perception that it’s on the fringes of society.
“If a good-looking, well-known, young female says, ‘This is the best thing I’ve ever done’, I could hang up my boots because there’s credibility that goes along with it.”
Dua listed the beach among her favourites on her Service95 newsletter and said Pedn Vounder was “one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen”.
I’m not sure whether Dua decided to strip off to her birthday suit when she last visited.
But given she is one of the most recognisable stars on the planet, I think going nude could have been a pretty good disguise.
No one would think it was actually Dua.
ON screen, Lily Collins is usually seen in over-the-top, outlandish outfits and a face full of make-up.
Lily Collins at a screening of His Three Daughters in London on Sunday[/caption] The actress is usually seen in over-the-top, outlandish outfits in Emily In Paris[/caption]So I barely recognised the Emily In Paris actress in this pared-down look for a screening of His Three Daughters in London on Sunday.
Lily, who wore a black dress and barely a speck of slap, isn’t in the movie but clearly wanted to check out the competition, given it will land on Netflix on September 20.
That’s a week after the second half of Emily In Paris’s fourth season drops on the platform on September 12.
Let battle commence.
ANYA TAYLOR-JOY has revealed her dream Disney role would be as Elsa in a live action adaptation of Frozen.
She told Vogue Hong Kong: “It would be very fun to shoot ice out of your hand. Also, you’d just be the favourite at every kid’s birthday party.
“All of my siblings have children now, so I would love for them to be able to say, ‘My aunty is Elsa’.”
Disney has developed live action remakes of lots of its other films, so her dream could soon become a reality.
AS the fabulously provocative WAP rapper, I wouldn’t expect Cardi B to do a cutesy maternity photoshoot.
Cardi B showed off her bump in an edgy maternity photoshoot[/caption]But I can’t imagine many mums-to-be have opted to show off their bump while straddling a motorcycle.
She shared this image on Instagram, writing: “I wanna meet my little boo boo soo bad already.”
She is expecting her third child with rapper husband Offset – although she filed for divorce last month on the same day she announced her pregnancy.
It’s been six years since her only album, so I’m hoping for another special delivery in the form of new music soon, too.
OASIS are on course to dominate the album charts on Friday thanks to the 30th anniversary reissue of their debut Definitely Maybe.
Oasis are set to dominate the album charts on Friday thanks to the 30th anniversary reissue of their debut Definitely Maybe[/caption]The original version of the record was already at No4 last week following news of their reunion.
But the band’s greatest hits record, Time Flies . . . (1994-2009), is also at No2 while 1995’s (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? is at No5.
The brothers might have five albums in the Top 40 as compilation The Masterplan has risen to No35, and third record Be Here Now is at No37.
I told yesterday how the band were also fighting Sabrina Carpenter for the No1 single with their hit Live Forever.
Her album Short N’ Sweet topped the charts last week but was at No4 last night, just behind Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ Wild God.
ELLE MACPHERSON goes for gold as she makes a fashion statement to launch her memoir.

Speaking about what she hopes readers get from her autobiography, which is out today, she said: “I have learned that love is what really matters.
“My life experiences brought about that discovery. I deeply wish that you learn unconditional love, firstly of yourself, then of others, then of life itself. It’s your true nature.”
