BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Starpoint Central School District Board of Education is looking into an incident involving superintendent Dr. Sean Croft from over the weekend, they said in a statement Monday.
The BOE said the incident happened on Saturday, but did not provide any information as to what happened.
"The Starpoint Central School District Board of Education has been made aware of an incident that took place on August 31, 2024 involving Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sean Croft," the BOE said in a statement Monday. "We are taking this matter seriously as we gather more information. We will provide an update when we are able."
WIVB News 4 has reached out to multiple agencies but the type of incident that happened is unclear. Students in the district are set to return to school on Tuesday.
News 4 also reached out to the Starpoint Parent Teacher Association and they said they have no comment.
