OASIS have reformed for one of the biggest reunions of the year – but one star has been forced to deny they will be joining them on stage.
Linda Nolan, part of the 70s/80s pop group The Nolan Sisters, was left cackling after discovering pranksters had been fiddling with the band’s Wikipedia page.

“This has made me HOWL… Who edited our Wikipedia page? Definitely haven’t been asked, but have a great time,” Linda posted on X (formerly Twitter), sharing a grab of the article.
But while the group aren’t set to share the stage with Oasis anytime soon, Linda revealed that she did have a connection with the Cigarettes and Alcohol icons.
She added: “Fun fact: Liam and Noel’s mum is a Nolans fan! Noel once stopped Coleen at Euston Station, as he said his mum would kill him if he didn’t say hi to her.”
Fans couldn’t help but delight at the moment, telling Linda they would love to see her up on stage alongside the Britpop legends.
One wrote: “Hahahaaaaa! Awww wouldn’t that be something eh? I’ll come and shake some maracas.”
“If I’d have known you were the opening act for Oasis, I’d have tried to get tickets. Forget Oasis, i’m not a fan,” said a second.
“I guess you have to roll with it xx” joked a third.
The prank comes as Linda Nolan continues to fight against cancer, revealing only last week two of her tumours have grown and further cancer spots have been found.
It is the latest setback for Linda, who gave a devastating update on her illness in March after learning that her cancer had spread to her brain last year.
Since those were discovered she has been undergoing immunotherapy every three weeks, now starting new treatment in a bid to slow down the spread.
The Oasis reunion has sent Britain into meltdown as an estimated 14million fans fought to get tickets in a sales catastrophe.
Putting the 17-date tour up for general sale on Saturday, it took minutes for crashes and glitches to make themselves known – with some holding on for hours to try and get seats, only to be booted from the queue line.
The band and Ticketmaster have since come under fire for hiking up the prices to over double their initial amount.
While they started at the already pricey £150 for basic tickets, by the time some got through they were over £350 “due to demand”.
The move caused such outrage even Prime Minister Keir Starmer has got involved and vowed to overhaul the “dynamic pricing” system to prevent ripping off fans in future.
