LUCAL BRECEL has swapped hot-potting for fine-dining since winning the world snooker title – and now with a ROBOT WAITER on cue!
The Belgian has splashed out on supercars and turned to globetrotting since being crowned Crucible king in 2023.
Partner Laura Vanoverberghe has accompanied Brecel around the globe[/caption]And just weeks ago World No2 Mark Allen suggested the out-of-form star has not been doing enough for his sport.
However, Brecel seems more than happy in his own new world – often sharing jetsetting pictures with partner Laura Vanoverberghe.
Nonetheless, even by his standards he has surely found new heights of luxury on his latest trip.
The 29-year-old posted pictures on Instagram as a robot waiter prepared to serve him.
Brecel also put up pics from Saudi Arabia noting the temperature was 41°C.
Some might say that’s considerably hotter than his current streak at the table.
Brecel has been struggling for any sort of win this season.
And he even had to forfeit a match against England World No74 Hammad Miah at the Xi’an Grand Prix last month – after getting stuck in traffic.

But Brecel is still sixth in the rankings, largely thanks to a riveting triumph against Mark Selby in the Crucible final of May last year.
He revealed he soared off to 14 countries in the four months immediately after that 18-15 success, in which he became snooker’s first-ever world champ from mainland Europe.
However, Allen’s words might bring him down to earth.
The Northern Irishman said last month: “No disrespect to Luca, because he thoroughly deserved to win his World Championship, but I don’t think he did much for World Snooker, he didn’t really carry the sport for the next 12 months.
“I think sometimes the way he speaks about the game doesn’t endear himself to people who are grafting away trying to get better.”
But although Allen hailed 2024 Crucible winner Kyren Wilson as a “good advert” for the game, he added: “Each to their own, they’re both world champions at the end of the day.”
And as Brecel relaxed with his AI-eating experience, worries about short-circuiting his career were surely the last thing on his mind.

IF YOU became a world champion of your sport and pocketed £500,000 prize money, how exactly would you celebrate?
Maybe buy a nice car. Treat the missus. Go on a lavish holiday perhaps.
Well, Luca Brecel has done all of that and more – put simply, he’s had the time of his life over these past 12 months.
The Belgian Bullet was crowned King of Sheffield in May 2023 in remarkable fashion, despite no practice and having never won a match at the venue on previous visits.
Brecel immediately splash £250,000, half of his World Champs earnings, on a stunning red Ferrari 488 – which he admits he NEVER drives.
He has since lived the high life, exploring the globe with his girlfriend Laura, piling on the pounds with some fine dining and hangout out with an Arsenal star.
He even lost his Crucible-winning cue.
