ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department announced the arrest of a Troy man for allegedly robbing someone in Albany on Sunday. Malachi Annan, 18, was charged with second-degree robbery.
Officers reported responding to the area of North Pearl Street and Steuben Street for a robbery. Police say they found out that Annan approached the victim with what appeared to be a handgun and stole $40 in cash belonging to the victim.
Albany Police say they found Annan in the area in possession of a BB gun and took him into custody. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Annan will be arraigned on Monday morning.
