Guglielmo Vicario is determined to write his name into Tottenham folklore by winning major trophies with the North London club.
The noises coming out of Hotspur Way over the last few weeks indicate that everyone at the club believes Tottenham can do something special this season.
Ange Postecoglou has repeatedly stated that success this season would entail winning silverware (Men in Blazers) while many of the senior players, including Cristian Romero (Sky Sports) and Son Heung-min (BBC Sport), have also reiterated the same message over recent weeks.
It is now the turn of Vicario to join the bandwagon, with the goalkeeper insisting that he and his teammates want to stay focused until the final ball is kicked this season.
The Italy international expressed his desire to write his name into the history books and achieve something at Spurs that will live in the memories of the supporters for many decades.
The Spurs number one told The Daily Star: “The target is to try to be a team until the 25th of May. And try to build a big team until the 25th of May.
“Of course, we are athletes and we want to win. We are born to try to win things and to be remembered by our fans because we know, if we do it at Tottenham, we will be remembered for life – for eternity.
“It would be one of the biggest things that could happen in your career – in your life. Maybe, one day you come back to the stadium, walk into the tunnel, into the corridor and see some pictures of you and say: ‘Ok, 40 years ago I did this!’ If it’s me in the pictures, it’d be very nice.”

Given how long Tottenham fans have been starved of success, Postecoglou and the players would be aware that they have a huge chance of becoming heroes at the club if they can get over the line and bring silverware to N17.
