GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Glenville Police Department is investigating a fatal car crash that happened on Sunday at around 3:20 a.m. on Amsterdam Road near Waters Road. The police say that four people died in the crash, one woman and three men.
Police report that a Honda Accord was traveling eastbound on Amsterdam Road when it left the south side of the road and went airborne, striking several trees before landing in a ditch. Glenville Police say they received anonymous information that there may be a video from another car's perspective of the crash.
The police ask anyone with information to contact them at (518) 384-0135. The names of those who passed are being withheld for the time being.
Glenville Police was assisted by the Schenectady and Saratoga County Sheriff's Offices, Niskayuna, Scotia, Schenectady, and Rotterdam Police Departments, as well as the State Police. First responders on scene included the Buekendaal, Scotia, Glenville Hill, and Rotterdam Junction Fire Departments as well as Schenectady County Fire Coordinators and Mohawk Ambulance.
