GEARY COUNTY (KSNT) - One person is dead in Geary County after drowning at Milford Lake.
According to a Facebook post from the Geary County Sheriffs office, an individual drowned at the south boat ramp of the swim beach located in the state park.
They were located after being under water for 10 minutes. The person who drowned was found by a bystander who began CPR. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene when EMS arrived.
This drowning is currently being worked by the Geary County Sheriffs Office and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
