Uma Thurman may be one of the most recognizable actresses of our time, but she keeps her private life mostly away from the public eye, especially when it comes to her youngest child. While her two older children are making their way in Hollywood, her youngest, Luna, is still a kiddo, and is bonding with her mom in such a cool way.
On Aug 30, Thurman shared a super-rare snapshot of her and her youngest Luna to her Instagram story. She shared the rare photo with the caption consisting of a red heart emoji and a knitting emoji.
In the photo obtained by Hello Magazine, we can see Thurman getting a smooch on the cheek from her daughter Luna as they stand over a cream-knit sweater that they seemingly created together.
Isn’t that so cool? We love seeing Thurman and Luna bonding together in such a cozy, creative way; and just in time for fall weather, too!
For those who don’t know, Thurman has three children in total. She shares two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke: a daughter named Maya Ray Thurman Hawke, born in July 1998, and a son named Levón Roan Thurman-Hawke, born in Jan 2002.
She also has a daughter named Luna Thurman-Busson, born in July 2012, with whom she welcomed financier Arpad Busson.

“I feel very lucky in my children, just because I am,” she said. “That’s the part of my life in which I’ve been the luckiest. But I think as a friend of mine said to me, ‘Parenting is not a sprint, it’s a marathon.’ I think they knew I was desperately, anxiously trying to do best job I could. I really came into parenting with a sprinter mentality, and over time, I’ve definitely gotten to see the marathon and to see things add up into strong, brave, independent adults. And nothing is perfect. No parent is perfect. You just do your best.”
