Saturday morning sees another dose of sunny skies and light offshore breezes along the beaches – but only the most minimal swell. It was possible to catch little closeouts at Dee Why and slightly longer little runners at Northy. For the record, swell at sea as of 0740 this morning was 0.8 metres at 10 seconds from the SE
Prospects are that tomorrow will be more or less a copy of today’s offerings, but on Monday it looks as though we could see some forerunners at south magnets in the afternoon along with NW wind and sunny skies. If the swell models have it right, Tuesday and Wednesday morning could well see south spots lighting up with chest plus sets along with light morning winds… so that’s something to look forward to,

Weather Situation
Gusty westerly winds will remain across the south and east through the weekend as a couple of cold fronts pass by to the south during the weekend. Then, a more significant cold front looks set to cross the state on Monday, bringing a vigorous west to southwest wind change in its wake. Winds are expected to ease on Tuesday as a large high pressure system moves across the state.
