Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted filming for Season Three of “And Just Like That” in New York on Aug. 28.
Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Nicole Ari Parker, and SJP were filming a scene that took place in front of longtime “Sex & the City” character Anthony Marentino’s Hot Fellas bakery in Manhattan. Marentino, a character from both the re-boot and original, is played by played by Mario Cantone.
For the shoot, Parker adorned her feet in a glamorous custom pair of René Caovilla Irina sandals. The silhouette is most comparable to the designer brand’s Margot style in yellow with the wrap-around ankle straps removed. Instead of a leg-climbing silhouette, the show’s stylist Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago worked with the brand to create a sort of Frankensteined custom slingback look bedazzled with rainbow rhinestones.
The base of the pair was crafted of bright yellow leather and included rounded open toes and 4.1-inch stiletto heels taken from the Irina style. Whimsical rhinestoned, also in gradient rainbow hues, wrapped around the stiletto heels, mirroring the same detail on the straps.
The Irina sandal retails for $1,390 while the Margot retails for $1,337 via the brand’s website. Comparable styles to the ones worn by Parker can be purchased from brands like Amina Muaddi, Steve Madden, Alexandre Birman and Saint Laurent, among others.
Similarly vibrant, Parker was styled in a vintage Chanel blouse equipped with billowing bell sleeves featuring colorful orange, pink, teal, black and purple accents. The designer top was accompanied by a purple 80s chiffon maxi skirt.
“And Just Like That” is a spin-off of Max’s hit franchise “Sex and the City.” Released in 2021, “And Just Like That” features a nearly identical cast to the show’s original main players including Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the ever-fashionable Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon, who depicts Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis, who depicts Charlotte York. New additions to the show include Sara Ramirez’s polarizing portrayal of Che Diaz and Nicole Ari Parker’s Lisa Todd Wexley.
