Former President Trump is slated to deliver remarks Friday during a campaign rally in Johnstown, a western Pennsylvania town once dominated by riverfront steel mills.
It's another visit by Trump to a key swing state that could decide the presidential election.
Trump's campaign says the former president will use the rally to promise to lower energy costs and that he will criticize Vice President Harris, noting that, as a Democratic presidential primary candidate in 2019, she supported a ban on hydraulic fracturing.
Harris’s campaign now says she doesn’t support a fracking ban, and Harris was asked about the issue in a prime-time interview Thursday night, her first as the Democratic nominee.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
