Nicole Kidman Completes Bottega Veneta Outfit With White Mule Heels for ‘Babygirl’ Photocall in Venice
Nicole Kidman attended a photocall for “Babygirl” at the Venice Film Festival on Aug. 30 in a classically elegant Bottega Veneta ensemble including a black dress and white leather mule heels.
Kidman looked polished in a black ankle-length dress with a traditional A-line silhouette. The short-sleeve dress was fitted around the bodice and flared into a skirt with subtle folds adding texture and movement to the outfit.
The shoulders were embellished with twisted and layered fabric, which contributed a uniquely eye-catching detail to the look. The actress accessorized with dangling earrings and a black watch while her blonde hair was styled up and fell out in waves.
Kidman appeared to be wearing Bottega Veneta’s Cha Cha Leather Mule Sandals, which include a white leather band that stretches across the top of the foot in a peep-toe design. The shoes also feature a four-inch sculpted heel that flares into a square base at the bottom.
The Italian-crafted shoes are backless, making them easy to slip on. With a modern heel and glossy finish, the shoes served as an elegant counterpoint to her black dress. They are available at Neiman Marcus for $950.
The Australian actress appreciates the mule style — she wore a patent leather beige pair to the premiere of the Netflix movie “A Family Affair” in June, for example. She’ll also wear a classic enclosed pump, like the crocodile-embossed pair she selected for an event in June focused on her show “Expats.”
After screening on the festival circuit, “Babygirl” is set for a Dec. 25 release in the United States.
