GETTING A TATTOO is all about personal preference, and while some may not like the look of them it’s up to you at the end of the day.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t bad tattoo designs and one man has been slammed for his.
But people were horrified by the inking[/caption]The picture was shared to social media and people were left baffled by the execution of the inking.
Taking inspiration from the much loved Pixar film Finding Nemo, the man had the little Clown Fish tattooed on his calve.
But instead of it looking like a cute fish, it looked like a ‘nightmare.’
The tattoo was of Nemo, but the blurred out lines added an ominous feel to it.
And that’s not all, the eyes of Nemo had an eerie look to them – blacked out in the outer area and white in the middle instead of the other way.
Nemo’s lips had also been completely botched with his bright red lips and it seemed the ink had been smudged to his chin as well looking like smudged lipstick.
Around the fish was a muggy blue colour to look like the ocean with bubbles surrounding him.
Underneath, the words ‘Just keep swimming‘ were etched into the skin in a untidy and wonky font.
People were quick to point out he looked like a zombie with a cataract problem instead of the adorable cartoon fish.
The picture was shared to the Facebook group, That’s It, I’m inkshaming. (Actually Bad Tattoos).
It was a quick hit with members of the group with over 220 likes and tens of comments.
One person wrote: “Poor Nemo needs to see a doctor about those cataracts. He can’t see to put on his… lipstick??”
Another commented: “Or zombie Nemo will get you,” said one finishing the saying ‘Just keep swimming.’
“I’m horrified!” penned a third.
1. Think, think and think some more
Tattoos done on a whim are far more likely to lead to regret than a tattoo you thought long and hard about. Think about why you want what you’ve chosen. And if you still want it after a few months, then get it.
2. Age restrictions apply
You must be 18 years old to be tattooed in the UK.
3. Don’t haggle over the price
When you go to a tattoo shop the price is the price. You are paying for an artist’s time and skills, they charge what they believe those things are worth.
4. Don’t get tattooed while you’re hungry
Eat before you go for your tattoo session and make sure you’re hydrated. You’re about to be subjected to a period of sustained physical discomfort, if you’re feeling a little weak from hunger or you’re dehydrated things will not go as smoothly as they should.
5. Don’t drink alcohol before you get tattooed
If you are drunk or under the influence of drugs, don’t go for a tattoo. In fact, if your tattooist has anything at all about them they will turn you away if you are clearly under the influence of any intoxicating substances. I’d also avoid drinking the night before, even a few drinks will thin your blood and make your bleed more.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Now that is nightmare fuel.”
“Nemo has seen better days,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “That fish is broken!”
