A man was badly injured when his roommate stabbed him Thursday morning in the Calumet Heights neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
About 8:15 a.m., the man, 53, was in a fight with his 32-year-old roommate when the younger man stabbed him in the 9100 block of South Bennett Avenue, Chicago police said.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was in critical condition, police said. His condition later stabilized.
No one was in custody.
