PLAYSTATION has a large library of classic games, and people have been enjoying its games since the ‘90s.
Many PS1 and PS2 games are available via the PlayStation Plus Premium library, or you can buy and play them on your PS4 or PS5.
Croc is back and looking better than ever[/caption]However, there is one game from the original PlayStation that has not been re-released for other Sony consoles.
Series such as Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy and Silent Hill have been remastered or made available to purchase and play on modern consoles.
But Croc: Legend of the Gobbos has not been available on PlayStation since its original release.
While the PlayStation version of the game sold over 3million copies, it has not been made available to purchase digitally.
It was hugely popular when it was released in 1997, and players loved the cute crocodile character.
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is a character 3D platformer where Croc must save the cuddly Gobbos, collect crystals and defeat bosses.
Players loved the soundtrack and the noises that Croc and the Gobbos made, as well as the interesting puzzles and level design.
However, other aspects of the game have not aged well, such as the tank controls, unreliable camera, and lives system.
Developer Argonaut Games has released a one-minute trailer for an HD remaster of the game.
The trailer features improved graphics, a faster and smoother framerate, and remade soundtrack.
We don’t know much about the remaster outside of these details, as no information such as price, platforms or release date was given.
Despite this, fans are optimistic about the remaster and are very pleased with the footage they’ve seen so far.
While the trailer gave very few details about the upcoming game, Argonaut Games said that new details would be coming “soon”.
A tweet from the developer reads: “We’ll be revealing more about all the new features, functions, and content soon.”
In the replies, a lot of people asked about an updated control scheme, but the studio refused to comment further on this.
We’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out exactly what the new features, functions and content will be, but the tweet suggests that many things will be changed.
