And fun as always
Marquette released a video on X that started out looking great. It was really slick and well made...and then it got boring.
Duke social media sets an incredibly high bar.
This year’s episode 1 of Duke Blue Planet starts with the team watching the US-South Sudan game from the Paris Olympics and you can tell pretty quickly that Isaiah Evans has the potential to emerge as a leader.
Then we see Justin Robinson, perhaps Duke’s most impressive walk-on ever and now on staff, at the front of the room speaking to his charges.
Jon Scheyer then talks a bit about meeting Duke expectations then we get Team Foster vs. Team Gillis for a fun scrimmage.
Then it’s on to Grayson Allen’s recent visit and some comments from him about what he’s been up to and what he’s doing to get ready for the grind of an NBA season.
You also get hints of just how much training has changed in modern basketball. Things are not what they used to be.
It’s kind of surreal when they start to play 2K and you see Jayson Tatum, Zion Williamson and Paolo Banchero on screen. It must be kind of mind-blowing for these guys to see that.
There’s more, but you can catch it when you watch. It’s all good stuff.
