A ticket ballot that gave Oasis fans a chance to buy tickets before Saturday’s sale has closed.
Those who entered could get the opportunity to buy tickets ahead of Saturday’s general sale.
After many years Oasis returns in 2025[/caption] Liam and Noel have reunited[/caption]A 24 hour window to register for the pre-sale ballot closed at 7pm BST on Wednesday.
But fans frantically waited for up to 12 hours for their confirmation emails to come through.
They now face another excruiating wait to find out whether they “won” the ballot, with emails being sent out on Friday morning at 9am.
Ballot winners will be informed via another email that includes a unique, non-transferable code, which gives them access to ticket sites a full 24 hours before everyone else.
The winners will be allowed to buy up to four tickets each.
Dozens of confused fans took to social media after finally receiving reading their confirmation email.
One penned: “I got this. Still doesn’t even guarantee were in the ballot even!”
Another said: “Still not received the email confirmation for pre-sale ballot #Oasis.
“If today’s anything to go by, god help us Friday-Saturday.”
Those who entered the ballot were asked who the band’s original drummer is, and were offered options of Chris Sharrock, Alan White, and the correct answer, Tony McCarroll.
Oasis said they received “an unprecedented volume” of entries to the ballot.
A post on their X account read: “We are aware that many of you are still waiting on a confirmation email.
“Rest assured they are on their way, as we process an unprecedented volume of entries.”
