COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is looking for additional information on a Friday night homicide on the southwest side where a 20-year-old man was killed.
The sheriff's office said that just before 9 p.m. Friday, deputies went to a parking lot of a Home Depot at South Grener Avenue after reports of a shooting. Law enforcement found 20-year-old Javier Roberto Ventura-Sanchez at the scene with a gunshot wound. Ventura-Sanchez was taken to a hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 9:45 p.m.
According to the FCSO's investigation, a 17-year-old allegedly shot Ventura-Sanchez during a meet up at the parking lot that occurred after a previous argument. The teenager has been charged with aggravated murder and remains at-large.
