A DRIVER has been ridiculed for parking “like they own” their bay, with fellow motorists saying there is “no excuse” for it.
The unfortunate Brit was spotted having seemingly been caught in two minds outside a TK Maxx store.
A snap of the problematic parking was shared on Reddit, much to the amusement of commenters.
The photo shows a black Honda hatchback parked up outside the large outlet at the end of a row of bays.
The two spaces to the side of them are completely clear, while the other side is bordered by a section of pavement.
However, the lack of other cars nearby may be down to the fact that they’d struggle to get in, as the Honda has parked directly over the line separating two bays.
In doing so, they have effectively blocked off both bays despite managing to park relatively straight.
The social media user who posted the picture sarcastically captioned it: “Great parking”.
Other viewers were less reserved in their criticism.
One wrote: “There really is no excuse when you get the end space.
“Just hug the kerb at that side, and you’ll have plenty of space on the other.”
Another joked: “Maybe they own the TK Maxx car park and are just asserting dominance over other drivers.”
And a third added: “Whenever I see this, I’m always tempted to park at 90 degrees across their rear bumper and go about my business as usual.”
However, not everyone was so quick to judge, as some tried to justify the shoddy job.
One defender hit back: “At least they tried their best.”
Meanwhile, a second argued that, while poorly done, it didn’t actually inconvenience anyone else.
They claimed: “Plenty of space to get two next to it, although it may be a little tight for the original parker to get into their vehicle.”
