Police in Paphos overnight arrested a 17-year-old for an investigated case of driving without a license, and under the influence of drugs, as well as other traffic violations and theft.
According to the police, the youth was intercepted around 11pm while riding a moped without a number plate, along with another person, while not wearing helmets.
The 17-year-old Greek Cypriot was driving with a 27-year-old third country permanent resident on the back.
The teen not have a driver’s license or an MOT certificate and tested positive when subjected to a drug test.
The moped which carried no number plate, also had its frame numbers altered.
The 17-year-old was arrested for the evident offences.
