You know we’re on the last leg of summer when the U.S. Open returns to New York City.
The annual tennis tournament kicked off this Monday, August 26, with a set of matches between pros from around the globe. But apart from good tennis, the first day of the Open also brought some celebrity appearances and flirty tennis-core fashion.
Movie stars including Phoebe Dynevor, Zoey Deutch, Alec Baldwin, and Kerry Washington took to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens to support their favorite players, as did many fashion world personalities (including designer Vera Wang) and multiple reality stars from Bachelor Nation (including Peter Weber, Matt James, and Justin Tartick). And, in the coming days, we’re certain many more notable names will follow their lead to enjoy nail-biting matches between renowned tennis stars including Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Taylor Fritz, Coco Gauff, Naomi Osaka, and Iga Swiatek.
The competitions will run until September 8, so until then, be sure to watch this space for more celebrity appearances.
