Following on from the success of Team Cyprus at the Paris Olympics, Bowls Cyprus are hoping to replicate this success at the European Championships at Northfield, Ayr, Scotland, by sending 10 bowlers to compete against other bowlers from 18 countries between 3rd-8th September,2024
Those selected to represent Team Cyprus are:-Linda Wilkinson, Caryn Morris, Kath Manson, Yvonne Veitch, Sara Trotter, Bob Manson, Loukas Paraskeva, John McMillan, George McGill and Scott Ferguson, representing all three clubs on the Island.
For a small Island Team Cyprus have had numerous successes in international competitions, including being the bronze medal winners at the European Mixed Pairs Competition, held in Tenerife in September 2023 and the most recent, the ladies being the inaugural winners of the Atlantic Senior Fours held at the Athena Beach Hotel in December 2023.
