Konami has announced that two iconic JRPGs from the annals of time are to be remastered and released next March. The remastered versions of Suikoden I & II will bring these two absolute classics from the late 1990s to a whole new generation of gamers.
Suikoden I&II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is available to pre-order from today on Steam, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Created by Yoshitaka Murayama the Suikoden series achieved global success, mainly on the original PlayStation 1 and 2, but was also popular on Nintendo handheld consoles and the Sega Saturn.
The series is loosely based on the Chinese novel, Water Margin. The two games are described by Konami as follows:
The Story of Suikoden I
A once-renowned hero turns into a violent tyrant, and an empire falls into decline.

The Story of Suikoden II
