I appreciate we're in a sticky situation cause ideally Buchanan would be coming in at left back.
I would just play Cochrane.
It's unfortunate Buchanan is not available but it's early season - last week was a free week. They have hardly been overworked and after Saturday we've got Walsall, in which game I'm sure they will make changes.
After that, I'm pretty sure the Exeter game won't go ahead as scheduled so we will have getting on for two weeks until the next game on the 16th.
I would play the strongest team tonight and try to get through personally, though I do accept they will make some changes.
Overall though, playing a maximum five games and then having a break isn't risking players' careers despite what Klopp and the modern scientists try to suggest.
