McDonald’s fans can enjoy a burger and fries deal this week for just £1.99 – how to claim it

FAST-FOOD fanatics are in luck this week as McDonald’s has slashed its prices with a brand new offering.

Happy Meals have been boosting the mood of customers for years but now the drive-thru giant hopes to bring in buyers with its new £1.99 burger and fries combo for one week only.

This week diners have the opportunity to give themselves a “little lift” according to the McDonald’s website which advertises a list of selected burgers with the deal.

The offer must be claimed before midnight on September 1st and is available when ordering for delivery or in-person.

There’s just one key detail you need to remember if you want to get your hands on the sale.

Not only must customers remember to order from the exclusive range of burgers on offer but they must order through the McDonalds app to save their pennies.

From the iconic Big Mac to the newer McPlant there seems to be something for everyone.

Other options include the Quarter Pounder with cheese, McSpicy, McChicken Sandwich, McCrispy and Filet-O-Fish.

The seven day limited deal means customers could save up to 70% when comparing the prices of an average medium meal which starts at £5.

Whilst no drink is included in this offer, customers will be able to earn points with every purchase by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

And that’s not all, for every penny spent customers receive one Rewards point.

That means 199 points when purchasing a medium fries and burger as part of the special deal.

McDonald’s breakfast is on offer daily from 5am to 11am.

Whilst their lunchtime set up begins from 11am.

The limited time offer can only been redeemed once per customer and must be claimed before the deal ends on Sunday September 1st.

It comes as the fast food giant revealed Maccies fans have just days to access their £3 meal deal.

Since the offer launched on July 31 the three for £3 deal has allowed foodies to pick from a wide selection of items.
