Ben Affleck was spotted on Aug. 23 grabbing ice cream with his kids Fin and Samuel in Los Angeles.
A constant love of the “Good Will Hunting” star, Affleck sported a pair of low-top kicks from Nike. The Jordan 1 Retro Low OG SP Fragment x Travis Scott style featured a black, cream and blue colorway, recalling previous fragment design collaborations.
The sneaker was fixed with inverted swooshes on the sides, cream-colored lace-up closures and co-branding throughout. Cactus Jack branding and a smiley face logo can be found on patches fixed to the left shoe’s heel while Fragment’s lightning bolt logo marks the right shoe. Two-toned rubber outsoles anchor the design, offering the silhouette a utilitarian touch.
These days, the collaborative sneaker, including other iterations, can be purchased via resale sites like Goat, Grailed, Flight Club, Kicks Closet and Farfetch. These low-top sneakers followed the release of a high-top version in the same blue, black and cream colorway. Regardless of the sneaker’s height, resale prices vary greatly given the collab is highly sought-after.
Keeping things casual, the “Gone Girl” actor wore a blue cotton t-shirt layered underneath an olive green collared button-down paired with khaki-colored trousers. Affleck seems to like ultra-relaxed silhouettes. Anything made of a breathable fabric in majority neutral tones. The look, like many of Affleck’s, is easily replicable.
Affleck’s “everyman” style often features versatile footwear and clothing that can be mixed and matched over long periods of time. The “Argo” actor’s formal attire frequently includes classic brown or black leather lace-up loafers. Similar hues appear in lace-up combat and chukka boots he wears while off-duty.
However, Affleck’s casual attire also includes a wide range of low-top sneakers in similar tonal and neutral colors, often hailing from Nike — though his selections also feature styles by Kenneth Cole and Bally.
His affinity for Jordans has grown since he starred and directed 2023’s “Air,” which followed Sonny Vaccaro and Nike pursue basketball rookie Michael Jordan, creating a partnership that revolutionizes the world of sports and contemporary culture.
