Ewing Room – Perkins Student Center
Wednesday, August 28th – 7:00 p.m.
Blue Hens, we can’t wait to tell you what it is like to compete as a UD student-athlete in the sport of rowing!
We’re looking for new students and upperclassmen interested in pushing their limits and being part of a winning team. Rowing builds strength, teamwork, communication, and time management skills – all valuable assets for college and beyond.
Learning the basics of rowing takes about three weeks. Like riding a bike, it involves balance and technique before you apply your energy to make the boat move fast.
We also need walk-on coxswains who are a combination of (1) drill sergeant, (2) cheerleader and (3) fighter pilot.
Interested? Here’s how to get involved:
We hope to see you there!
