TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office confirmed a school bus vs. car crash southwest of Topeka Monday morning.
At 7:25 a.m. the sheriff's office was called to the intersection of 47th and Birch for a report of a school bus vs car crash. According to Shawnee County dispatchers, no injuries were reported.
Jessica Roberts with USD 437 told 27 News in a written statement around 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 26 the bus was carrying eight middle and high school students when it was rear-ended by another vehicle. No one was injured in the crash. Students were moved to another bus due to damage inflicted on their bus during the crash.
