PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden will hold a press conference Monday to talk about how penalties for price gouging by the giant pharmaceutical companies is helping Americans in Oregon and across the country.
Wyden, who is the chair of the Senate Finance Committee, will be joined at the press conference by cancer patients and doctors. The senator worked to get the penalties included in the Inflation Reduction Act, which was signed into law by President Biden two years ago.
