The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has justified why he cannot abolish the Electronic Transaction Levy (E-Levy) now but will do so when he is voted president. The Vice President at the launch of the manifesto of the NPP last week announced that his government will abolish E-Levy and all other nuisance taxes if Ghanaians give him the chance to serve as president.
