I splurge on high-quality retinol but use a Dollar Tree skincare line – it’s nice & my $1.25 face wash goes a long way
A SAVVY skincare fan has shared the Dollar Tree skincare line she swears by.
Though she splurges on high-quality retinol products, she explained that a $1.25 line balanced out the rest of her routine.
Redditor DonnaFinNoble shared the skincare tips in a post.
“I use, and really like, the collagen line that Global Beauty Care put out,” she said.
While the line doesn’t contain sunscreen, she raved about the line’s quality and overall value.
The line, which contains a facial cleanser, skin cream, eye cream, and serum, can be found at Dollar Tree stores.
The cleanser, in particular, was a stand-out for her.
“The face wash is very thick, so even though the tubes are small, a little bit goes a long way,” she said.
“That’s in the blue packaging.”
The skincare fan added that she’s able to regularly get deals on the line.
“They get some nice closeouts as well if you’re willing to change it up from time to time,” she said.
“I’m willing to change up my night moisturizer, so if they have a name brand, I buy it and use it. I’m currently using a ‘men’s’ moisturizer right now. It’s nice and thick but not greasy.”
She explained that the core of her skincare routine consists on a few splurges and Global Beauty Care collagen staples.
“I spend my money on a high-quality retinol (I’m old) and then happily use less expensive serums, toners, and moisturizers,” she said.
“I do want to say that the Bolero items I’ve bought and used are nice, but I’ve only tried the lotion and body oil (soooo nice) and calming toner with aloe and rose.”

She explained that she was impressed with Global Beauty Care’s collagen skin cream, facial serum, and eye cream.
“I use all of these in the mornings and the eye lift cream at night combined with the night cream mentioned above,” she said.
She added that the line contained an impressive list of anti-aging ingredients.
“The facial serum contains collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and squaline, as do the face and eye cream,” she said.
Not only that, but she raved about the skincare line’s cosmetic elegance.
“They feel good on my skin, albeit slightly oily, so I don’t use much, and sometimes I don’t use all three in one day,” she said.
