Fulham have handed one of their new signings a wage rise of over 50 per cent more than he was on at his previous club, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
The Cottagers have added to their squad this summer and one of the new boys scored on Saturday as they beat Leicester City 2-1, with Emile Smith Rowe striking.
Marco Silva has also just strengthened his defensive options by signing Joachim Andersen from Crystal Palace.
The defender is pocketing a huge rise at Craven Cottage and it is claimed to have been a ‘major driving force’ behind the move.
Andersen is now earning around £6m per year, which is over 50 per cent more than he was taking home at Crystal Palace.
Losing Andersen is a blow for Palace, who could also yet see Marc Guehi exit too.
Guehi is wanted by Newcastle United and they are putting in a major push to take him to St James’ Park.
Crystal Palace are seeking a package of £70m to let Guehi depart for Newcastle as they view him as a top defensive talent.
