I Dream of Jeannie’s Barbara Eden is reminding everyone that she’s the self-care Queen at 93 during her birthday celebration.
On Aug 23, Eden was pictured by Hello US starting her birthday celebration (and the photo proves she’s as fabulous as ever with every passing year).
The iconic actress was pictured going to a local salon in Van Nuys, wearing a stunning, boho-chic ensemble consisting of a sunflower-inspired maxi skirt, a long-sleeved black crewneck top, beige loafers, gold accessories, and white sunnies that remind us of the 1960s!
Along with this stunning outing, Eden actually talked about what she planned on doing for her birthday weekend, snd it shows she’s the self-care Queen.
Now, for those wondering, Eden actually told People how she spent her 93rd birthday on Aug 23. “I am so grateful to have completed another trip around the sun,” she said to the outlet. “I’ll be spending my birthday having lunch with my husband and some dear friends. I will also be enjoying the weekend with my family, my sister Alison, her husband, and their children. I want to thank all my friends and fans around the world for their outpouring of love and well wishes on my special day.”
So a day at the salon, eating out with her husband, and then celebrating with the people she loves? Eden knows how to treat herself, and it shows the self-care never stops!
In a previous interview with Closer, she revealed that her secret to feeling great in her 90s is simple: “I think the secret to feeling great is to keep active, do things that you love and have a good sense of humor.” And she relayed this sentiment in another interview with People when she talked about how grateful she is for her life.
“I’m really lucky,” she said. “I have dear friends. I have a wonderful family, a very supportive husband, a dog who is adorable, but a brat! Yes, I’m very happy. I think life, everything, has to work itself out. There’s a reason for most things, and I can’t wish for it.”
Happy belated birthday Eden!
