A WOMAN has revealed that she gave her dull stairs the ultimate transformation, without breaking the bank.
DIY fan Penny Viviers, who is from the UK, revealed that thanks to a cheap buy from Amazon, she was able to turn her stairs from drab to fab.

And particularly if you’re a fan of the shower curtain trend, which has taken over homes of many up and down the country over the last couple of years, then this is sure to leave you impressed.
Penny took to social media to show off a before, during and after look of her stairs overhaul, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on DIY On A Budget Official, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Penny shared the process of her stairs makeover.
She said: “I’ve just done this to my stairs, ripped off the carpet and underlay, ripped out hundreds of nails, staples and blobs of glue.
“I then sanded down the stairs, bannister and rail, filled in holes, added primer and then painted.”
Penny claimed that after lightly sanding her stairs, she then varnished the stairs, sanded them again, and then varnished them again.
She continued: “I just need to repaint the wall.”
The savvy mum then added a breathtaking peel and stick scene, as she proudly showed off the finished result – a stunning black set of stairs that feature a jaw-dropping waterfall display.
Thrilled with her DIY transformation, Penny concluded: “This has taken me eight days of my leave, sore hands, knees and back but it’s done.”
Penny confirmed that she used a matte wall and ceiling paint for her stairs and nabbed the stair decor from Amazon.
There are a variety of different designs and styles to choose from, but the self-adhesive natural waterfall scene stickers, which Penny nabbed, are available to buy online from Amazon now, for just £27.99.
Penny’s post has clearly left many open-mouthed, as at the time of writing, it had quickly racked up 530 likes and 124 comments.
Social media users were impressed with Penny’s epic overhaul and many flocked to the comments to express this.

ANOTHER trend that has taken social media by storm is the shower curtain trend.
The trend sees people buying large shower curtains with fun prints on them, usually of exotic locations, and hanging them on their garden fence or wall.
The idea is to transform dull gardens into something slightly more exciting – and that’s exactly what many homeowners have done.
People attached the water-proof fabric to the fence, creating an optical illusion of a sunny island paradise right in their back yard.
At the same time, one DIY fan beamed: “Omg that’s stunning.”
Whilst one woman wrote: “I wasn’t expecting that. That’s a statement for sure.”
To this, Penny replied: “Can’t miss it. Something very different.
“I worked on it from 11am to 5pm with the odd tea break and back kill break, but it’s done now.
“The waterfall makes such a difference.”
