NEW YORK (PIX11) – An off-duty NYPD school crossing guard was arrested in Brooklyn on Thursday, according to authorities.
Meagan Hubbard, 31, was taken into custody around 8:30 a.m. She was allegedly caught on surveillance video beating a man along with five others back on Aug. 5, according to court documents.
The group also allegedly stole the victim's registered firearm, court documents said. The victim suffered swelling to his head and abrasions to his lip.
Four others are still wanted in the attack, according to court documents.
Hubbard was charged with robbery, gang assault and assault. She was suspended without pay, according to authorities.
Hubbard was released on her own recognizance following her arrest, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office.
