A WOMAN who loves to date younger men has hit back at trolls who say she’s “damaged goods”.
Tara, who is from the US, is a self-confessed cougar who has dated guys younger than her sons, who are 30 and 24.
The 50-year-old confessed she usually keeps her love of younger men “on the down low” because of this, and even has to make sure she’s not friends with the parents of her romantic partners.
In a recent clip Tara shared on social media, she explained she’s not looking for a husband and just wants to have fun with her young lovers.
This came after someone commented on a previous video and wrote: “For the young guys, just hit and run. These women are damaged goods.”
But the gran had no time for haters and explained that she’s not looking for love.
In fact, it’s the men who keep chasing her.
“Strangely enough, I can’t get rid of them once I’ve dated them they won’t go away,” she said.
Tara explained she can tell if she’s going to hit it off with someone instantly, but they often get the wrong impression and she ends up having to break it off with them.
She confessed she doesn’t want to waste her time with someone she’s not compatible with, unlike the younger men she dates.
As for being “damaged goods”, the gran had the perfect come back for that too.
“If you call emotionally stable, financially stable, down to earth, fun – if you call that damaged goods, I’m guilty,” she said.
She added that being “wifed up” isn’t her goal and she’s just looking for fun and companionship – not a husband.
After posting her reply to the comment on TiKTok her post quickly went viral, and even more men rushed to the comments to try and bag a date.
One wrote: “This person sounds like they can’t handle someone in your bracket.”
A second agreed: “I’d be honoured to be with you.”
“Where do I submit and application,” another said.
“You’re not old, I’d call you experienced and there’s nothing wrong with that,” someone else commented.
Meanwhile, another user said he “loves dating older women because they know what they want.”
And someone else added: “You’re so beautiful the young men don’t deserve you.”
