Hello Friends,
In line with expectations, our surf prospects have pretty much disappeared at Dee Why this morning. Swell at sea was 0.9 metres from the SE at 10-seconds as of 0700, so dialled-in south magnets could still be seeing the odd rideable set in the waist-ish or smaller range. Other than the near complete absence of swell, it’s a corker of a morning with light offshores, mild temps and sunny skies.
The Goat should be along later with his thoughts on the surf week ahead. My quick take is that we’re in for marginal to near flat conditions across the weekend…
Have a great Friday one and all!
A high pressure is sitting over the New South Wales coast. The system will slowly move east today after which a series of troughs and fronts will cross the southern waters during the weekend and into the new week bringing gusty westerly winds. A stronger cold front is also expected mid next week.
