BIG MOJO (3.00 York, nap)
Created a huge impression when winning the Molecomb on his second start. He fell out of the stalls, but flashed home to win with plenty in hand. His trainer reckons he is the new Big Evs and this race should play out perfectly for him.
BRADSELL (3.35 York, nb)
Won last year’s King Stand and was back to his best on return when cruising to success in France. He ran well in this race last year when racing in the wrong group and his extra stamina is a big positive, as this is likely to be run at a searing gallop.
WAFEI (1.50 York, treble)
Sneaks in off a tiny weight and can get the job done. He made late headway over 1m3f on handicap debut at Goodwood and this test should suit perfectly on that evidence. Off 3lb higher, he can double his tally.

Off 3lb higher, he can double his tally. Lieber Power is in great form and was only edged out at Windsor last time. He’s due to be 4lb higher in the future and is very dangerous.
Mr Monaco shapes as though he’s worth a try at this trip after a real game win over 1m2f last time. He’s another with leading credentials.
Shadow Dance became unbalanced and hung badly when edged out at Ripon last time. A 2lb rise is manageable and he will not be far away – especially as the Ripon run suggests he can do even better.
Euchen Glen is a fan favourite veteran who will be staying on powerfully late on and could easily nick a place. There would be no louder cheer than him winning again.
Dark Moon Rising is far from reliable but he likes this track and is on a dangerous mark. He’ll get a good test and will be staying on better than most late on.

ALSAKIB kept on finding to win a 1m6f Group 2 here last time.
That was in tough conditions too, so a step up to this distance looks the perfect move. He doesn’t have much to find in terms of class and makes lots of appeal.
Point Londsdale is the class act, a relentless winner of a Group 3 at Chester two back. He ran well again last time and has always shaped like he would suit this stamina-sapping trip.
Grade 1-winning hurdler Vauban has run well in Group races this year, although he was below-par last time.
If back to his best, he has obvious claims in a race over his perfect trip.
Gregory posted a career-best when third in the Goodwood Cup last time. That form is up there with the best in this line-up and it is still relatively early days for him.
Night Sparkle has been in good form without winning this year. She needs to find more to be winning in this line-up, but she’s consistent and won’t be far away if bringing her a-game.

Andesite created a big impression when toughing it out on debut here. He suffered a setback before Royal Ascot, but he remains unexposed and can get back on track in this.
Shadow Of Light picked up the same Newmarket race that stablemate Noble Style did before winning this in 2022. He remains capable of better and makes lots of appeal.
The Strikin Viking won here on debut and has gone down by half a length in two Group 2s since. He sets the form standard.

Asfoora got the better of Big Evs at Royal Ascot, but the latter turned the tables at Goodwood last time.
There is unlikely to be much to split the pair once again, though Asfoora is marginally preferred with the weights in her favour this time unlike Goodwood.
Believing was a shade unlucky not to peg back the aforementioned pair at Goodwood after being forced to play bumper cars. She is another who would be well suited by a burn-up on quick ground.
Live In The Dream won this last year, but he’s mainly struggled this year and is unlikely to repeat the feat in such a deep race with lots of pace.

REACH won this race last year with plenty up her sleeve and she’s been in good form in two starts this campaign.
She’s clearly been lined up for this and despite the poor form of the yard, she can go back to back.
Power Of Destiny was only edged out by Al Anoud at Goodwood after an interrupted trip. Both are unexposed and have leading chance, especially as there is just a 1lb pull for the former in this.
Chorus finally got off the mark at Windsor last time. She is bred to be smart and can improve further in handicaps off a potentially generous mark.
Battle Queen shaped like she was in need of this trip at Ascot and Newbury last time. If she was to improve for it, her current mark would be no barrier to success.

ANGELO BUONARROTI cost £2million and shaped with lots of promise on debut in the Coventry at Royal Ascot.
He’s almost guaranteed to improve for that run and given how much esteem he’s held in, it would be disapointing if he didn’t win this.
Whirl ran well in a good Curragh maiden on debut for Aidan O’Brien. His runners always improve for a run and she’s entitled to lots of respect as a result.
Ultrasoul bumped into a horse who’s fancied for the Gimcrack earlier on the card. He is certain to suit the step up in distance and Roger Varian’s horses are in good form.
At a price, Thanks Angel cost £120,000 and is bred to be smart.

NATIVE WARRIOR has gone close in Royal Ascot and Goodwood handicaps since a maiden win.
He remains capable of better, will be suited by this strong test and could be tough to beat for Karl Burke.
Midnight Gun was edged out over 1m2f for the same owners at Goodwood. A drop back to the mile is certain to suit and he’s another with very strong claims.
Dosman ran a cracker at Newmarket last time and the form has lots of substance.
His opening mark, with that in mind, looks generous and he won’t be far away.
Mount Teide relished the mile when making all at Newmarket last time. It won’t be easy to dominate here but he’s respected.
