The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
The area of low pressure that brought some of us showers and storms yesterday is continuing to drift away from us. High pressure coming in from the west will replace it, bringing more consistent sunshine in the coming days.
High temperatures peak in the mid 70's for the Capital District. Some in the hills and mountains may struggle to get out of the 60's. While we can't rule out one or two stray showers this afternoon, the vast majority of us stay dry.
Tonight, temperatures are again comfortably cool - in the low 50's for the valleys, and the mid to upper 40's in the higher terrain.
Feeling more like late August for Friday, with mostly sunny skies and highs close to the 80 degree mark.
Saturday is another beautiful summertime weather day, with temperatures ranging from the mid 80's in the morning to the low 80's in the afternoon.
Sunday and into the work week, it may feel ever so slightly muggy at times - a few showers are possible through this period, though no one day looks like a washout. Highs remain in the low to mid 80's.
