Oprah Winfrey Urges Fellow Independent Voters to Choose Kamala Harris During Passionate DNC Speech (Video)
Oprah Winfrey brought the house down with her passionate speech on night three of the Democratic National Convention!
The beloved talk show host and media queen spoke on the main stage on Wednesday night (August 21) at the United Center in Chicago, Ill.
Oprah revealed to the crowd that she identifies as an Independent voter and urged others who identify as the same to vote for Kamala Harris.

“There’s a certain candidate that says if we just go to the polls this one time, we’ll never have to do it again,” Oprah said about Trump‘s recent remarks that implied there would be no more elections if he won in 2024.
“So I’m calling on all you independents and all you undecideds. You know this is true. You know I’m telling you the truth, that values and character matter most of all,” she added. “In leadership and in life.”
“Common sense tells you that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz can give us decency and respect,” she said. “Let us choose loyalty to the Constitution over loyalty to any individual because that’s the best of America. And let us choose optimism over cynicism and let us include inclusion over retribution.”
