KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Ulster County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a Kingston man after a traffic stop on Saturday. The 48-year-old, whose name was not released, is facing multiple charges.
On August 17 around 9:30 p.m., deputies stopped a car on Abeel Street in Kingston for reportedly committing a traffic violation. During the stop, deputies determined that the driver was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated with a child in the car.
The man was arrested at the scene. He now faces the following charges:
The man was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to the City of Kingston Court at a later date.
