Asda shoppers rush to buy gardening essentials perfect for summer scanning for just 50p
ASDA shoppers have rushed to their nearest store to get their hands on summer gardening essentials for just 50p.
An eagle-eyed bargain hunter was quick to turn to social media to post a photo of the find.
The supermarket giant seems to have slashed its prices just in time for those hoping to make the most of the last of the UK summer.
In the photo the savvy shopper has shown off her findings.
This included a watering can which she bought for just 88p.
She also managed to grab the garden tool set which offers three different tools for only £1 whilst the gardening gloves were sold at 50p.
One Facebook user commented: “Aww I’ll have to have a look.”
Another replied to the post to let others know that the Redditch store seems to have had watering cans and gloves in stock recently.
Asda has dropped the price of the tool set from £4 to £1 on their website too.
The Hapello Kids Gloves which come in two different colours, green and pink, have already sold out online so customers should hurry to their nearest store if hoping to get the last of any available stock.
The watering can is also unavailable online but was available in yellow, pink and blue colour options so it is worth keeping an eye out for them on shelves.

However it is worth remembering that when stock has been reduced, availability will vary store to store.

Wilko’s have a similar watering can on sale for a slightly higher price of £2.99 for online buyers.
