Emmerdale drops huge bombshell about abuser Tom King as fans left reeling over Piper the dog’s death 

EMMERDALE has revealed a bombshell surprise for fans as Tom King’s sick and twisted plans for wife Belle Dingle takes a disturbing turn.

The evil vet – who is played by actor James Chase in the ITV soap – has been torturing Belle for months but when she escaped him he took his controlling abuse to the next level.

Viewers watched in horror last week as Tom ran over Belle’s dog Piper with his car – before pretending to try to save her life.

He then convinced Belle that he had dumped her body so she would seem unstable to her family when he turned up with her in a wicker coffin to bury.

However in tonight’s episode the even more disturbing truth was revealed – Piper is alive and Tom did it all to torture Belle even more.

But as Belle visited Piper’s grave, there was a shock away from the village.

He was seen getting out of his car and picking up a very much alive Piper and handing her over to a couple at their home.

“How could anyone be mean to a lovely little dog like this?” the woman said, taking Piper and holding her close.

Tom lied, telling them: “Some people – she had her tied up outside all night, whimpering.”

“And there’s no danger this awful woman’s going to come looking for her?” asked the man.

“She won’t even realise she’s gone,” replied Tom, smug with himself.

But with Piper alive and well, she is microchipped so should she run away from her new owners and be found – Belle would be contacted.

And with Piper being shown to be alive, Tom’s lies would unravel and he would be exposed for that at least.

Fans reckon it could spell the end of Tom’s reign of terror in the village.
