Despite The View falling under the ABC News umbrella, it’s still considered an “opinion-focused” show and because of that, she’s “not held to the same standards as its full-time journalists” who are “expected to avoid any potential appearance of bias.”
Thus, Variety muses that she’s not likely to bring up her position on The View during tonight’s event.
