The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced the groups and schedule for the WBSC Blind Baseball International Cup 2024, set to take place from 27 to 29 September at Farnham Park in Buckinghamshire, England.
As the United Kingdom’s leading baseball and softball facility, Farnham Park will host nine teams divided into two groups. Group A features hosts Great Britain, the United States, Pakistan and Tanzania, while Group B includes Cuba, China, Hungary, Italy and the Netherlands.
The Opening Round will begin on 27 September with the opening games at 09:00 local time including Tanzania against Pakistan and Hungary versus Cuba. The last games of the day at 15:45 see Italy face China and USA take on hosts Great Britain.
The second day will continue with Round Robin play, as teams vie for a place in the semifinals on 29 September.
The semifinals will see the second-ranked team in Group B play the top-ranked team in Group A, while the other semifinal will feature the second-ranked team in Group A against the top-ranked team in Group B.
Following the semifinals, thetournament will conclude with the bronze medal game, the gold medal game and aclosing ceremony.

British Baseball Federation and supported by BaseballSoftballUK.
The inaugural edition of the WBSC Blind Baseball International Cup was held in Beek, Netherlands, in August 2022, where Italy emerged as the champions among six competing teams.
