Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior is a daddy’s girl through and through. The adorable 3-year-old just made a core memory with her dad Chandler Powell, and a picture from the moment will melt your heart.
“Getting some advice from Grace on how to research crocodiles????” the former professional wakeboarder captioned a new photo on Instagram. “Love creating such meaningful memories.”
In the picture, Powell is dressed in Australia Zoo khaki at the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve, where the Irwins have been tagging and tracking crocodiles to continue the late Steve Irwin’s mission. Powell looks at something off in the distance in the snap, holding Grace with one arm. She looks like a burst of sunshine in her pink floral shirt and light pink pants. From her tiny hand holding onto her dad’s shoulder to her long curly hair pulled back in a ponytail, she looks so cute!
Going on a trip to research crocs will definitely be a core memory for Grace, and her “Bunny” (aka, grandma) Terri Irwin agrees. She commented, “Grace is sure taking it all in. What a wonderful way to learn!”
Someone else wrote, “She’s SOO ADORABLE! And SOO Attentive to everything going on! ❤️” “I just love the close bond that you and Grace share! She is definitely daddy’s girl, and is so blessed to have you for a father Chandler! ❤️❤️????” another commented.
Earlier this week, Bindi shared a cute video of Grace helping the crocodile research team take pictures for their sponsors. “Grace *had* to be involved with all our Croc Research ‘thank you’ photos. And I *had* to share it with you because … look at her HAPPINESS! Oh my goodness,” the Australia Zoo CEO wrote in the caption. “I love that she’s running the show with our amazing team here on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve. Thank you to our incredible sponsors who help us keep this important conservation work going and thank you, Grace, for lighting up our world with your sweet heart. ❤️”
When this research trip is over, Bindi is planning on going back to research a different kind of trip: visiting the U.S. national parks with her daughter. “When our beautiful daughter was born, I decided I wanted to take her on a big adventure,” Bindi said in a recent video. “Since my husband is from Florida and my mum is from Oregon, I want our girl to experience as much of the United States wilderness as possible.”
“My dream is to take her to every USA National Park before she’s 18. If you have advice, please share. I can’t wait to make this dream a reality…” she added.
Grace certainly has a dreamlike childhood!
