The Standard have revealed that Destiny Udogie is fit to start Tottenham’s Premier League season opener at the King Power Stadium despite missing much of pre-season.
Spurs saw most of their rivals get their campaigns off to a winning start over the weekend and they will want to respond in kind when they travel to Leicester this evening.
The Standard claim that new signing Dominic Solanke is expected to make his Tottenham debut as Richarlison is not yet fully match-fit.
However, apart from the Brazilian, Ange Postecoglou is said to have a fully fit squad to choose from, with Udogie available from the start despite playing only one pre-season game.
Postecoglou will also be without Yves Bissouma, who the club has suspended for one match after he posted a video of himself inhaling laughing gas last weekend.
The Spurs boss thus has a problem regarding who to start in the middle of the park, with The Standard predicting that new signing Archie Gray will partner Pape Sarr and James Maddison.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Lucas Bergvall are two other options for Postecoglou in that midfield trio.

I expect Rodrigo Bentancur to start alongside Sarr in the middle of the park.
The rest of the side picks itself, with Dejan Kulusevski likely to be given the nod to start on the right over Brennan Johnson.
