Previously, he murdered 21-year-old shop worker Kathleen Heathcote in 1963.
Upon release, he carried out a series of sex attacks in the Bristol Downs in the 1970s.
There was a huge hunt for Evans who was dubbed the “Clifton Rapist.”
Despite being freed twice before on parole only to attack women, he has a new appeal.
Evans will appear before a three-person panel in October.
This will be his first hearing since being sentenced in 2023.
A source said: “Evans believes he will get parole despite his horrific record.
“He will argue that he is an old man now and no danger to women.
“It will take a brave parole panel to release him.”
So far, Evans has spent a total of 53-years in jail.
Evans served 11 years in prison for Miss Heathcote’s murder and was released in 1975.
Between 1977 and 1979, seven women were ambushed and sexually assaulted as they walked home in Bristol.
The electrician was finally caught when he attacked an undercover female police officer.
A spokesperson for the Parole Board said: “An oral hearing has been listed for the parole review of Ronald Evans and is scheduled to take place in October 2024.
“Parole Board decisions are solely focused on what risk a prisoner could represent to the public if released and whether that risk is manageable in the community. “
Evans has been in prison two years longer than notorious inmate Charles Bronson.
